Deposit & Pick Up: Buyer understands this contract is to be signed by the owner of the puppy at the time the deposit is placed. This contract is void, if signed by another party. Deposit is $450.00. Deposits are NON REFUNDABLE! The remaining balance must be paid in cash at pick up. If the puppy is traveling via flight, nanny or car transport; the remaining balance must be paid 7 days prior to pick up from the transporter. This is to ensure the remaining balance has deposited into my account. Puppies sold with Full AKC must have Peppermint Lane at the beginning of the AKC registered name. Buyer does not guarantee that the puppy/dog will fully mature to be a show or breeding quality K9. Puppies sold as PET ONLY will not go home with papers. Buyer has four days to pick up said puppy once they reach 9 weeks old. (Unless other arrangements have been made with the seller). If the buyer does not pick up said puppy within four days and has not made arrangements with the seller, the puppy will then be forfeited back to the seller and will not be replaced or refunded for the deposit.

Puppy Warranty: The buyer has 48 hours from the date of pick up, or delivery date to have the puppy checked by a licensed Veterinarian. Seller guarantees the puppy for 72 hours  from the time puppy leaves sellers hand either via transport or directly to the buyer. If your puppy should die for any reason during this period, the puppy must be autopsied by a certified veterinarian at the buyer's expense. A written Veterinary statement must be obtained first, & seller must then be contacted within 24 hours. It is the buyers responsibility to provide the seller with a notarized copy of the autopsy report with the cause of death. A replacement puppy of the same breed and sex will be provided from the next available litter. The buyer understands a new puppy should not be put outside on the ground or socialized until fully vaccinated. The replacement will be up to the discretion of the seller (breeders choice). Seller is not responsible for Any Expenses Associated with the puppy after said puppy leaves the sellers. The seller does not guarantee the size, show or breeding ability of any puppy sold. Buyer understands once puppy leave sellers possession, the seller is not responsible for any further Veterinary care expenses. Seller does not guarantee puppy against coccidia as this could be triggered during transport, due to stress. Buyer understands no refunds will be given. Terms are for a replacement puppy only.

Health Guarantee: This puppy is guaranteed until one year of age against fatal and life altering congenital disease, which adversely affects the health of the animal. This includes severe hip dysplasia, which hampers a dog's movement and natural gait and requires surgery to correct kidney, heart, pancreas, spine, and liver problems of a severe life threatening or altering nature. If the dog dies within this one year time frame, the buyer will pay to have it autopsied to determine cause of death. If the reason is congenital, the Seller will replace the puppy, no refund will be given. All items covered under this guarantee are by replacement puppy only. We do not give refunds. Seller will not be responsible for any medical expenses incurred. Buyer is aware that owning a puppy means trips to the Veterinarian and understands that he/she will be responsible for all expenses. As of the date of delivery or pick up said puppy has received all proper vaccinations and dewormings. The buyer has been informed of previous and for future vaccinations and dewormings needed. A health record will be sent with the puppy showing all current shots and dewormings and should be taken to the Veterinarian when the puppy is taken for its initial check. This guarantee does not include Coccidia, Giardia or internal parasites. We give all preventative treatments. Buyer understands no refund will be given. Terms are only for a replacement puppy.

A puppy showing life threatening  genetic or congenital defects will be replaced as follows: Puppy must show the defect by one year of age. Seller must be notified of the problem within two business days of the licensed Veterinarian's determination and have two reports from two unassociated Veterinarians stating the same problem. Seller will provide a replacement puppy of equal value. A puppy with a defect must be returned or euthanized with the proper permission of the seller, To qualify for a replacement puppy. Unless, the seller agrees to other arrangements. A returned puppy must be returned to the seller in good condition (other than the specified problem) at the buyer's expense. The owner will then qualify for a replacement puppy. Buyer is responsible for transportation costs to and from the seller on a replacement puppy. This guarantee applies to the original puppy only and is non transferable to a second puppy. No replacement puppy will be given if the puppy has been bred, spayed, neutered, or euthanized without seller's permission or knowledge. Replacement puppy will be mutually agreed upon by both parties and will be of comparable quality. It is understood that the replacement puppy may not be from the exact same parents of the original puppy. There are certain disorders that may be caused by environmental factors, for example: allergies, thyroid dysfunction, demodectic mange, and other autoimmune disorders. These are not covered by this guarantee. Any physical problem which is or could be the result of injury is not covered under this guarantee. There is no guarantee or warranty that the Buyer will be able to show or breed the puppy regardless of show or breeding potentials. Buyer understands the seller can not guarantee the buyer's puppy's adult size. Buyer understands terms are for a replacement puppy only. No refunds will be given.

Requirements of buyers: Buyer agrees, said puppy/dog acquired from seller (Jennifer Fairchild) will not live outside. Buyer agrees to keep said puppy/dog up to date on its shots, worming, & heartworm medication. Buyer agrees to provide appropriate Veterinarian care to said puppy/dog. Buyer agrees to feed said puppy/dog properly. Buyer understands said puppy/dog is to remain in their custody of the buyer who signed this contract. If for any reason the buyer can not keep said puppy. The puppy/dog must be returned to Jennifer Fairchild (seller) at buyer's expense. No refund will be given. Buyer understands said puppy/dog can not go live with someone other than buyer who signed this contract unless the seller agrees.
